Hernan Santarcangelo


Owner and Founder of Atelier Architects International, Hernan Santarcangelo brings over 16 years of experience to his firm as a practicing architect in South America, the United States and the Caribbean.


With extensive experience in the design and construction of hospitality and healthcare facilities, commercial office space, residential, and resort development, Hernan’s background is widespread and technically diverse. From the design of luxury residential properties in the United States and abroad, to a healthcare facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a Caribbean resort development with 300 villas, an artificial lake, restaurants, a shopping area, a spa, and a marina, Hernan’s architectural range is vast—both in project scope and location.

Hernan believes that through architecture you can bring an idea to life. For him, “architecture allows you to participate in the making of history by contributing to the character of a community.”


The satisfaction of creating something tangible and memorable is what drives him.

Hernan is a graduate of the School of Architecture at the Universidad de Moron in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Licensed Architect in the State of Florida AR#96867 (NCARB) and a Florida Licensed General Contractor CGC1513671.

Ariel Villella


Co-Founder and Managing Director of Atelier Architects International, Ariel Vilella has been a practicing architect for over 12 years in South America and the Caribbean. With a strong background in engineering, construction and project management, Ariel specializes in the design and construction of hospitality facilities and luxury residential projects.


Before beginning his studies at the Universidad de Moron in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ariel studied contracting and engineering at a technical school for six years. This gave him the opportunity to work as Director on multiple projects for various general contracting firms prior to completing his Bachelor of Architecture Degree.

Ariel believes that architecture must constantly adapt according the evolution of our modern life style and combined with leading-edge technology to meet the needs of modern-day life. He also believes that architecture is responsible for keeping people close to nature by designing spaces that allow them to appreciate and co-exist in harmony with the environment.
